Raytheon Company (NYSE:RTN) was awarded an $88 million task order to install passenger checkpoint screening equipment at airports nationwide (see also Raytheon Company).
The task order was issued under the Transportation Security Administration's Security Equipment Integration Services contract. Raytheon will be responsible for installing equipment that includes a wide range of technologies. The contract began March 24 and ends March 23, 2011.
"The Raytheon team looks forward to continuing our partnership with TSA to help protect our nation," said William Toti, Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC vice president of Integrated Support Solutions.
